The location of the hostel is incredibly convenient as it is in the center, close to most attractions, and right in front of a tram station. This makes it easy to explore the city and get around. Additionally, the hostel is close to the city centre, allowing for easy access to shops, restaurants, and nightlife.
One negative aspect of the hostel is the noise level. Some guests mentioned that it can be extremely noisy, making it difficult to sleep peacefully.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The location is perfect, tucked away on a back alley but still in a great area with access to lively bars and restaurants. The room amenities were top-notch, including heating and a well-stocked mini-bar. I also appreciated the dining options for breakfast. The staff were generally helpful but I had some trouble with my request to stay in the same room as my friends, which was unfortunately not accommodated.
I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The 24-hour reception and reliable Wi-Fi were great bonuses, and I appreciated the no-smoking policy.

Convenient location near attractions, metro, and restaurants. Friendly staff and inviting common room. Free tea, coffee, and breakfast available. Good nightlife nearby with a great bar next door. Safe and comfortable place to sleep in a shared room.

The location of the hotel is very good. Seems to be very noisy outside especially at night (bars, restaurants, coffeshops and a very crouded street).
could not check-in for very long because the room was not cleaned up. Wifi was broken and tv didnt work. Receptioist did not allow me to use the hotel computer to check my flight scince the WIFI did not work. Noisy and not very clean. overpriced.

great location, near museums, shops, and public transport. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Previous stay in Amsterdam exceeded expectations at Hostel Leidseplein.
Lousy bar music played until 5am.

Amsterdam is a place one must see. Lots to do and lots of intersting places to visit.
This is not a standard room **it is discusting and filthy, bedding and towels were old and dirty** Broken beds definitely not a place to recommend. 3 flights of steps, noisy,no coffee ,tv,shampoo or soap.Location would be the only 1 good thing.**** Don"t stay here It may be cheap by Amsterdam standard but there is still no excuse for filth.

The staff were very friendly. They gave useful tips and were happy to chat.
It looked nothing like on the website. The sheets were stained, the carpet was dirty, the t.v. didn't work, and rather than 4 separate beds (we had booked the 4 bed room we had one smaller-than-double and two mismatched twin beds stuck together.

The staff at the hostel were friendly and provided helpful information. The central location of the hostel was convenient for accessing Amsterdam's attractions. The hostel had good wifi connection.
The hostel had steep and narrow steps, making it difficult to carry large luggage. The drainage in the bathroom was poor, resulting in stagnant water in the showers.

Only hotel staff and location (after red district leidseplein is among the hot spots of amsterdam). Coming from central station : tram 2 & 5,every 7 min !
Demanding total disaster but who comes in amsterdam to stay in the hotel ?!?

I found it very adventurous when there is no toilet paper or towels in the room upon arrival! That just made my holiday. After asking twice I got towels but still no toilet paper! And I also loved the buffet breakfast that consist only coffee, who would dream to have anything else when reservation includes 'buffet breakfast'? And also the lack of working electric appliances made my staying at the hotel interesting.

We really enjoyed our stay in the heart of the city. The location was perfect, with plenty of food, clubs, and cafes nearby. It was also not too far from the city center, making it convenient to explore the sights. The room was basic but clean, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The WiFi was decent, allowing us to stay connected during our stay.
There was one negative aspect that affected our experience. The lack of double glazing resulted in a lot of noise from a nearby club, making it difficult to sleep for those who prefer quiet nights.

The only good thing with the hotel was that the reception staff were kind and nice.
What we did not like - everything for the reception people. We can only warn other travelers to stay well clear of this hotel!!
